Report: Mother of 50 Cent's Son Granted Restraining Order Against Rapper | 73 Comments | 21 Jun 2008

NEW YORK ¿½¬€ The mother of 50 Cent's son was granted a temporary restraining order against the rapper on Friday, TMZ reported.

As per the order, 50 Cent will have to forfeit any firearms he may have, and any pick-up and drop-off of his 11-year-old son, Marquise, must be "at curbside," according to the Web site.

He's also not allowed to be on any premises with his son's mother, Shaniqua Tompkins.

Tompkins' lawyer Paul Catsandonis said they will be arguing for a permanent restraining order against the rapper next month, TMZ reported. Earlier, Tompkins said that people associated with 50 Cent have made threats against her.

Meanwhile, 50 Cent's lawyers have served Tompkins with a $20 million defamation suit in Connecticut court for accusing 50 Cent of burning down his own house, and trying to kill her and their son, TMZ reported.

Round ... um, everybody is losing count. On Thursday (June 19), 50 Cent told his side of the latest drama between him and Young Buck on New York's Hot 97 radio station.

Earlier this week, 50 released portions of a call between him and Buck, in which his former crew member broke down in tears over his dismissal from the group and financial difficulties. Buck responded Wednesday afternoon with a dis record called "Taped Conversations." 50 retaliated by putting out the entire phone call on ThisIs50.com.

Despite our previous finding, when we spotted him wearing a wedding band during a recent interview with Forbes, Fiddy said during a radio interview on Thursday (June 20) that it is just a prop for his upcoming film, €œMicrowave Park.€

Fiddy says he€™s been wearing the ring during the whole process of filming, which is why he was wearing it during the interview.
